The mount will lower original height which was not good when use with full self driving cuz you will have to tilt you head down low to look at the screen which is not safe and also so will cause fsd to tell you pay attention. Also, the mount advertised as high grade material but it already has rust near ball joint.

It works well enough but it makes the screen sit quite a bit lower than stock. The plastic trim pieces look okay but they’re not quite oem quality. The lower trim piece in particular does not look very sleek from the back side and you can see it with the screen tilted toward the driver. The instructions are better than quite a few of these types of products i’ve seen. However, a little more information about unlatching the wire connectors would have been helpful.

The instructions call for bith wires to be on top of the mount. I found it easier if i had the wires on the bottom. Once i had the wires in the bottom the holes were able to line up.

More effort to install than i expected. Much easier to install if you have a ratchet wrench. The kit fits well but the swivel is not as smooth and takes a bit more strength that expected to move. Maybe the stiffness is required to hold the screen in place. Happy with the purchase.

Fits good in my 2026 model y, fast processing and shipping speed was really fast. It did lower my screen about an inch to inch and a half and i’m not happy about that but the swivel makes up for it.

I love having these swivel mounts. After seeing that this only tilted 30 ° And 15 ° And lowers the screen a few inches, i decided to give it away. My eyes are going bad so i got one from amazon that tilts up to 40 ° And doesn’t lower the monitor at all. And, it comes out about an inch closer to the driver. So, if you’re young and have good eyesight, this is a great product and it’s half the price of the better one (for me) on amazon.
