2. Some Model Y (Standard Range) made in American Austin factory and German Berlin Factory after 2023.08, there are 2 mixed versions, and also Model 3 / X / S Highland / New Y Juniper version are different also. Please contact us to confirm before buy if your are not sure.
3. Special Note on New Y Juniper: our Auto Power Frunk can be installed on all New Y Juniper including New Y Juniper without frunk button. Tesla just removes frunk button, but our auto power frunk can be installed and work well still. (If you want to add after-marked frunk button, we advise to install it 1a year later, because need to drill a hole on front trunk. But Auto Power Frunk can work well without frunk button.)

One of the struts was super hard to put on, and the metal clip got bent and i had to swap it out using the factory clip. Which had a different shape and was much easier to install. Also there was no instructions or faqs. The latching mechanism worked when the tub, air filter were out. But the it failed to latch after i put them back. Luckily support was fast to respond and suggested that i move the latch up. I ended up moving the oem latch up to the very top, and placing the frunk trigger piece at the same height. Now the frunk works well.

This was an amazing addition to my car. Definitely makes the frunk alot more usable! Installation took about 1.5 hours and was very straight forward. I got the 2021+ refresh kit and everything works without an issue.
